Making Beanies is a new type of resource for the nzmaths site. This five minute video story describes the process and outcomes for a rich maths unit of work based around making polar fleece beanies.

We intend to develop a collection of similar videos. If you have recently taught a unit that you think would make a great video story, email Andrew.

A collection of rich learning activities has been developed to support teachers of year 9 and 10 students. The activities are designed to provide engaging contexts in which to explore the achievement objectives from Level 5 of the NZC.
